Scranton is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Traffic in Scranton peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Addresses read from the street number up to the city, state abbreviation and five-digit ZIP code; the map link on this page shows the exact spot.

If you're from N.Y. & you're looking for an authentic Spanish market you should go here. All the ingredients to make sofrito. Get the original Calderon (rice pot) and chorizo. Excellent market.

These people do not know how to run a business properly. I do NOT recommend. I made it 5 minutes before closing and they decided to let someone 2 inches in front of me enter while telling me I could not come in. They still had 5 minutes left and all I wanted to grab was a hot sauce bottle that can't be found anywhere in this area. The prejudice is real here. Do NOT support this place. The owner is lucky I was not in a bad mood.
